This site is designed to provide information about exotic instruments and as an easy interface for people to learn and advance as musicians.

I had an old clairinet that sat on my shelf for a few years and one day I decided to fix it, with some duct tape and a few wood shims I managed to make it playable again. I made a clairinet diagram so that I could learn the instrument easier. I have since made a few other diagrams, here are diagrams for clairinet, balalaika, charango and the guitarrone.

Also included is an animated lesson about the "modes" -a series of scales based off of one scale, the major scale. This lesson gives four quick audio examples of each mode
